Create an account and save your login details
Start on the account creation page in the VPNBeta user dashboard. No email address is required; create an account with a username and password. Before entering your details, make sure you’re on the official site. Choose a username and password you’ll remember. Use a unique password and save it in a trusted password manager so you can sign in from other devices.
After submitting the form, follow the prompts to access your account. If you’re taken to the login page, sign in with the username and password you just saved. When you see the account overview, confirm you’re signed in to the account you intend to use before choosing a plan. If your username is unavailable, try another one as prompted. If a field is incomplete, check its contents rather than creating multiple accounts.
If you already have a VPNBeta account, sign in and use it to check your plan and subscription. VPNBeta supports unlimited devices, so you don’t need to create a separate account for each personal device. Your account password and subscription link serve different purposes: use the password to access the dashboard and the link to load routes in the client. Keep both secure.
Choose a plan and confirm your payment
Open the plans section of the dashboard. First, choose between a monthly subscription and a data package, then select an allowance. Monthly subscriptions suit ongoing use: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, or ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Data packages suit occasional or flexible use: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. They expire only when used up and never expire otherwise.
Once you’ve chosen a plan, check the plan name, data allowance, and total due on the order confirmation page. Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported; follow the payment page instructions. After paying, return to the dashboard and check the order and plan status. Don’t assume the plan is active just because the payment page closed. If the status hasn’t updated, refresh and check the order before deciding what to do next to avoid paying twice.
Once the plan shows as active, get your subscription. If you upgrade mid-term, the price difference is converted into remaining days; check the dashboard for the exact change. An upgrade does not restart the full billing period. VPNBeta offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. See the refund policy for details. If you have questions about a plan, review the billing information on the pricing page before returning to the dashboard.
Return to the account overview and get your subscription
Open the account overview in the user dashboard and make sure your plan is active, then find the subscription section. The subscription link lets your client retrieve route settings; it isn’t a regular website address or an installer. If the dashboard offers an import option for your client, use it after installing the client. To import manually, copy the subscription link from the dashboard and paste it into the client’s remote subscription field.
Copy the entire link. Don’t select only part of the visible text, and don’t paste it into the client’s local file import field. Clients usually distinguish between adding from a link and adding from a file; choose the link option. If the client says the address is invalid, copy the link from the dashboard again. Check that there are no spaces, line breaks, or extra text at the beginning or end, then try adding it again.
Your subscription link may contain account-specific information. Don’t post it in public forums or share screenshots that show the full link. When asking for help, share only your system, client, the step you were on, and the error message. Hide the link and any sensitive account details. If the dashboard doesn’t show an available subscription, check that you’re signed in to the right account and confirm your order status. Don’t look for replacement subscriptions on other websites.
Install the client and import your remote subscription
Download clients from the user dashboard. This guide focuses on VPNBeta clients that support remote subscription configuration, so you don’t need to enter route details manually. After signing in, you can get the Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux clients without purchasing a plan; an active subscription is still required to connect. The iOS client download is available when your plan is active and unexpired. Follow the dashboard instructions.
Follow the section for your device; you don’t need to set up every platform. The import is complete when the client can refresh its configuration and displays a route list. If you see a configuration name but no routes, you’re not ready to continue to the connection check.
Windows: Add the link in subscription settings
Download the VPNBeta desktop client for Windows from the dashboard, install it, and open it. Go to the subscription or configuration manager and find the option to add a remote configuration from a link. Paste in the subscription link you copied earlier. Give the configuration a recognizable name if you like, then save and refresh it. Wait for the route list to appear, then select the configuration you want to use.
If the dashboard offers one-click import, open the client first, return to the dashboard, and select the matching import option. Confirm the browser prompt to open the client. Enable system proxy and network permissions as instructed by the client. Don’t run other proxy tools at the same time when troubleshooting a connection. First test the client on its own using the steps at the end of this guide; then check compatibility with other software.
macOS: Make sure the configuration is saved and enabled
Get the macOS client from the user dashboard, install it as prompted by the system, and open it. Go to the configuration or subscription list, choose the option to add a remote configuration, and paste in the subscription link. Save it, then refresh the configuration and check that the route names load correctly. If the dashboard import option has already sent the configuration to the client, check the existing configuration instead of pasting the same link again.
The first time you connect, macOS may ask you to approve network permissions. Read the prompt, follow the client’s instructions, and then return to the main screen to choose a route. A successful import and an active connection are different things: a saved configuration doesn’t mean your traffic is using the selected route. Check that the configuration is selected and the connection switch is on, then test access.
Android: Add the subscription and approve system access
Get and install the Android client from the dashboard. When you open it for the first time, go to the subscription or configuration section and use the dashboard’s one-click import option, or choose to add a configuration by link. To do it manually, paste the full subscription link, save it, and refresh. Make sure the client lists available routes. If the browser doesn’t open the app automatically, copy and paste the link instead of repeatedly tapping the import option.
Choose a route and start the connection. When Android asks to authorize the VPN connection, make sure the request is for the client you’re using. Once connected, open the app you want to use and test access. If the connection drops when the client is in the background, check its background activity and battery settings. Observe what’s happening before changing the relevant settings; you don’t need to adjust everything in advance.
iOS: Get and import the client from the dashboard
First, check in the dashboard that your plan is active and unexpired. Go to the iOS client download option and install the app using the App Store link provided. Return to the dashboard and use the import option for that client. If prompted to open the app, confirm and check whether the configuration has been added. To configure it manually, find the remote subscription option in the client, paste the link, and refresh.
The first connection usually requires permission to add a VPN configuration. Follow the system prompt, then return to the client. Find a route in the subscription list, select it, and start the connection. If the list is empty after import, refresh the subscription. If the target app still reports a region mismatch after connecting, check the route region and account region rather than reinstalling the client.
Get the ClientChoose a route and test cross-border access
After importing the configuration, choose a route in the client. If a service requires a specific region, select a route in the region where you use it. For everyday browsing, you can start with a nearby region. Labels such as IEPL, relay, and direct describe the connection type; they don’t guarantee the same results in every app. To compare routes, keep your device and local network unchanged and switch routes one at a time.
Turn on the connection and confirm the client shows that it’s connected. Then visit the website or app you actually need to use. Don’t rely on the connection switch’s color alone: check whether the page loads, you can sign in, and the features you need work. An app that was already open may still use its previous connection; close and reopen it, then check again.
If you still can’t access the service, check these in order: whether your plan is active, whether the remote subscription updated successfully, whether the right configuration is selected, whether connection permissions are enabled, and whether the route region meets the service’s requirements. To try another route in the same region, switch routes without deleting the original configuration. Network connectivity and account eligibility are separate issues. You must still meet the target platform’s region, account, and content requirements; a successful connection doesn’t guarantee that every feature will be available.
That’s all you need for everyday use. If your plan or routes change, refresh the subscription in the client and select a route again. For more troubleshooting, see the FAQs. For streaming region checks, account region, and playback issues, read the Streaming Guide. There’s no need to change these advanced settings before your first connection.
What to include when reporting a problem
Note your device’s operating system, client name, the step where the error occurred, the error message, and whether other websites work. Before sharing a screenshot, hide your username, sensitive order details, and full subscription link. Include this information in a dashboard support ticket to help identify whether the issue is with your account, configuration, local network, or target service.
